Luxury hand decorated sugar cookies for every occasion

MINIMUM ORDERS

My custom gift boxes are generally made up of a minimum of 6 cookies – these consist of 3 “themed” cookies and 3 “message” cookies, eg. Happy Birthday, Name, age (or something else if preferred).

For parties however, there is a minimum order of 12 cookies. These are generally bigger (around 3.5 to 4.5 inches) than the gift box cookies as they don’t need to “fit” into a gift box.  

PAYMENTS

Payment is required upfront, and confirms your order. For custom orders, I will send an invoice via email, with banking details. Payment is required within 24 hours to secure your booking. If payment is not received within this time frame, I cannot guarantee your required slot. This is the only way that I can manage my diary efficiently and accommodate everyone fairly. For larger orders where booking is made far in advance (weddings etc) a deposit may be discussed and agreed upon. This deposit will be due within 24 hours of invoice, the balance payable will be due as agreed.

REFUNDS

I will only offer refunds on custom orders up to 24 hours after payment has been received. After this time, I will only be able to reschedule your order, or keep your payment as a credit towards a future order (pricing may be different at a later time though). Unfortunately, I do not offer refunds on Presale or Flash sale cookies.

AVAILABILITY

Custom orders should be booked well in advance (at least a month before they are required). I will always do my best to accommodate last minute orders, however those required with less than 3 weeks lead time may incur a 20% rush fee.

Please note that I will have reduced availability for custom orders during the time leading up to special holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, Christmas etc). This time is set aside for seasonal presale cookie sets.

 

POSTAL ORDERS AND BREAKAGES

I take great care to package cookie orders so that they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. However, breakages do occasionally occur, and are a non-refundable risk when placing a postal order.

Delayed deliveries- Whilst I only use Royal Mail (First Class Signed for) for postal orders, I cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the time stipulated. While most do arrive on time, sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances (bad weather, human error, pandemics etc) delays do occur. Refunds are not offered in these instances.

Unfortunately, as per Royal Mail, claims for lost items can only be made 10 days after the due delivery date, and your patience is required on these occasions.

Customer satisfaction is always my top priority. However, refunds are at the discretion of Quirky Cookie Barn. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your order, please email me at [email protected], and I will do my best to assist you.

Refunds will only be issued if the entire order is returned in its original condition, and I have agreed that any error is mine entirely.
